services offered
I work collaboratively with you to design a treatment plan that fits your needs. My focus is on understanding your experience and supporting you through a process of managing symptoms and building lasting skills to improve quality of life.
medication management
when appropriate, I prescribe and manage psychiatric medications as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. We’ll work together to find the right medication and dosage, with ongoing monitoring and adjustments based on your needs and goals.
exposure & response prevention
I have significant training in ERP for OCD (and related anxiety disorders). ERP helps you gradually face fears and break free from avoidance cycles & mental spiraling in a safe, structured way.
additional therapy modalities
I integrate techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), inference-based CBT, psychodynamic therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and supportive therapy for those in more formalized therapy with me, as well as weave in components for other session types. This flexible approach allows us to address both immediate symptoms and deeper patterns over time.
consultation services
I offer psychiatric consultations for diagnostic clarity, particular for ruling in or out OCD in diagnostically ambiguous presentations.
mindfulness
I incorporate mindfulness-based strategies to help you build awareness, manage distress, and stay grounded in the present. These techniques can be powerful tools for anxiety, rumination, and emotional regulation.

initial consultation (90 min)
-
Here, we will review your current concerns, psychiatric and medical history, lifestyle factors, and goals for treatment. This session helps us develop a personalized treatment plan that fits your needs and values - whether that includes medication, therapy, or both. Alternatively, if you are just seeking a one-time consultation for diagnostic clarity, we review the above with explicit focus on diagnostic presentation.

the process
〰️
the process 〰️
step 1. free consultation
this brief 15 minute phone call is an opportunity for us to connect, discuss your goals, and see whether we might be a good fit. You can share what you're looking for, ask questions, and get a sense of how I work.
step 2. intake paperwork
if we decide to move forward, you’ll receive a comprehensive intake questionnaire covering your history, lifestyle, and goals. I also invite you to share relevant medical records or lab results. I review this information carefully before our first appointment so that we can use our time together more effectively.
step 3. initial consultation
during this 90 minute appointment, we’ll dive deeper into your current concerns and what you're hoping to get out of treatment. This session helps lay the foundation for a thoughtful, personalized care plan.
step 4. information gathering
sometimes additional information is helpful to fully understand your picture. We may discuss lab work, review outside records, or -with your consent- connect with other members of your care team, such as past therapists, doctors, or family members.
step 5. ongoing follow up
follow-up sessions are tailored to your needs and treatment goals. They may range from 25 to 50 minutes and occur anywhere from every few weeks to every few months. If we’re doing therapy work together, we may meet weekly. Frequency and length of sessions are always decided collaboratively.
